So I recently noticed that the 10-yo has changed his laugh a little bit, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth and making a “teh” sound when he thinks something is funny.
It’s something I do sometimes, and lots of people do, of course.
It’s a subtle thing, but another reminder of these evolving creatures.
I don’t mean to sound like a sentimental, nostalgic old parent, but I do find these little changes fascinating as they grow older.
Seeing them turn into mature individuals, both physically and emotionally, is sometimes a little bit awesome.
(Of course I don’t really care about YOUR kids getting older; but MINE…)
Anyway…
Teh.
