I can’t believe I’m saying this, but our team qualified for the Softball World Series again this year. We barely squeaked out a win in our final qualifying game.
This will be the third year we’ve made it since I’ve been with the team. First it was Kansas City, then Columbus. And this year it’s in Dallas. That’s nice and close by, but it’s happening in August and it’s gonna be…. hot and toasty.
Anyway, here are some of my ending stats for the spring, and where they rank on the team:
- Batting Average: .536 (1st)
- On-Base Percentage: .576 (3rd)
- Slugging Percentage: .679 (1st)
Then I was 2nd in RBIs and 3rd in Runs. 1st in # of singles, tied for 1st in # of doubles, tied for 1st in # of triples.
Hey, it’s not bragging, it’s just facts!
Also, I gotta work on that full-length softball play this summer. So. Much. Excellent. Drama.
