One Minute Play Festival tonight @ Ground Floor Theatre

It’s the second annual #1MPF and I’ve got two short (duh) pieces in it.  And I’m excited to say that this year there is no nudity in either of my plays.

I’d like to think that I learned from last year’s first festival in Austin, but we’ll see.  And what I mean is that there were a few plays in particular last year that stood out and had a real impact.  It’s hard to stand out in such a short time with dozens of plays on either side of yours.

I went to a tech rehearsal this weekend and saw about half of the plays.  My favorites in general were musical ones.  It didn’t really occur to me to write a one-minute musical.  Maybe if I get the chance again I’ll try that next year.

All right, over and out.

(I need to write a note about our upcoming production in November, a benefit for the Autism Society of Central Texas; stay tuned, Max (I mean world))!
