This is still kinda nuts to me. Like it wasn’t even something on my bucket list. But now I’m gonna be intermingling with all the cool people, I guess. I have to practice how not to be too “aw shucks” about everything.
I’ve even got invitations to two galas already. Have I even ever been to a gala? I should keep track of these things.
Some people think I should get a tux. Do I need one? I have some other nice clothes my son helped me get. Let me know if you have strong feelings about how I should handle the fashion situation.
