We wrapped up A MILLION MORE TO GO last week to a satisfyingly full house. It was a great experience, and I’m still digesting it all. I loved all the collaborations and can’t wait to work with this crew again.
We got a few reviews for it, which I’ll link to here.
- Austin Chronicle: It’s like a live-action puppet show, Punch and Judy for the modern audience… Absurd times call for absurd measures, and Langert’s script fits the bill.
- CTX Live Theatre: A hugely funny and thought-provoking comedy, Max Langert’s A MILLION MORE TO GO is swift and vivid with an outstanding cast of now familiar multi-talented Austin actors.
- Austin Arts Watch: A Million More to Go is a solid piece of absurdist political satire, with a stellar ensemble, often riotous dialogue, and intriguing world-building
Even though we struck the set, said our farewells, and shed a few tears, there’s more potential news afoot. We had a meeting a couple of weeks ago about a new opportunity, with next steps set to happen in late August.
We’ll post more details here when and if we have them. But… it’s kind of exciting.
Until then….
