The Out of Ink 2014 experience is over and I’m beat.
Had a great experience all around. Got over some acting anxiety, some self-consciousness about directing someone else’s piece for the first time, and was happy to let others take the reins on the piece I wrote.
Did it. Boom. And there are photos so I can actually convince myself it all happened.
Next year the festival will be at Hyde Park Theater, which is a great motivator to get something good in for that. But it’ll be at least six months before I need to start thinking about it.
Ta!
