My friends at Stories Found invited me back for another episode recently. They ended up recording a short interview and a 10-minute play of mine, Personality Test, which is probably officially my most-produced piece at this point.
I wrote it in the aughts and it was first performed at the City Theatre in Delaware. And then it made a regional “greatest hits” list ten years later. And was maybe done a couple of other places. And now… immortalized on the webz!
The piece is funny, though it feels a little dated when I listen to it now. I don’t know why. I’ve heard people tell me it’s funny and weird and cute and they enjoy it. I don’t know if it really is dated in some way, or if it’s just me being critical of my earlier writing style.
Anyway, you can check it out yourself HERE if you want, and then just ring me up and let me know your feelings. I’m so glad they did it, and their site is a great place to visit anyway. The previous episode (The Interview) is definitely worth a listen if you haven’t heard it yet. It’s funny and takes a lot of surprising turns (AND it takes place in a work environment which is always a plus!).
