Okay, so here’s where we’re at.
It’s not the hippest thing in the world, but I like it. And the kids like it. And that counts for a lot these days.
It does read a little like a kid event, but that’s okay. Probably most people will show up via word of mouth anyway.
I decided to leave the artists’ names off the flyer partly because there’s still some flux in who’s going to perform, but also because there just wasn’t room to make them all fit without being overly busy. Plus I can list the names on social media or whatever.
HOWEVER, if one of the bands I’m talking to comes through, I may try to update the flyer with their name in case it helps with the draw.
So now we’ve got a flyer, a logo and a venue, and those are actual things that make the event seem more real.
Feel that momentum churning under the surface? Do you?
Those autistic kids sure better appreciate it, that’s all I’m saying.
(I’m kidding, I’m kidding!)
