Inspired by the upcoming Austin mayoral election (and some other elections too), we’ve commissioned a new play from one of our favorite residential playwrights and hope to present it to the public as part of a benefit sometime around August or September.
We’ve had some initial workshop readings online and the reaction has been enthusiastic and supportive. We’re excited about this one.
And don’t worry, we have OTHER election-adjacent work coming to the stage soon too (June!!). More publicity about this piece coming in the weeks ahead.
