Quickly want to log the 14/48 show we did earlier this month. It was a blast as always, but with even more running around than usual.
I’m really happy with the piece I wrote – which was about a work conference attended by various insects learning the trade secrets of “teamwork.”
This is a shot of Horton the Hornet having her way before… a lot of gross things happen and a lot of bugs get squished. I hope to do this piece again, perhaps for next FronteraFest? Especially if Ruth will agree to direct again. She was great.
Anyway, we did a radio show preview HERE on KOOP the Wednesday before, and I got to reprise my role writing a 5-minute play in 30 minutes, which is a sweat-and-stress-inducing blast of adrenaline to do live on the air as the clock ticks and the clunky printer chugs to life with seconds to go. You can get directly to the show’s recording HERE and there’s a bit of us at the intro, then there’s a cold reading of the play at the end.
That’s all; keep it up 14/48! Always a party.
